One ideal chemical policy I find would be essential would be the number of pesticides being used in agriculture for the growth of the crops such as fruits and vegetables. Too many fruits and vegetables are packed with hazardous exposures that can possibly be transmitted to us by consuming these foods if not washed or cleaned properly. These toxic chemicals are not only hazardous for those consuming the foods but also for the surrounding neighborhoods that are exposed to the chemicals as they are being sprayed onto the fields and spreading into surrounding homes. There are so many chemicals going into our foods as they are being grown that many don’t realize may be harmful when we consume them. This is why some people might only want to consume organic foods because those foods are grown without added pesticides and hazardous chemicals. In today's world, we also want to consider what pesticides may do to other animals and to our overall air as well. Additional chemicals and elements need to be reduced to help consumers and the overall environment.
