Household Products
One of the household products I decided to look up was my one of the cleaning supplies I use for my bathroom “Scrubbing bubbles”. It is a bathroom cleaner that is suppose to kill 99.9% of bacteria. According to the household products database, the products is not toxic but it is a hazard to humans and gives warning about exposure to skin and its flammability rating which was at a 4 due to its ingredients.
The second household product I use almost everyday its the Clorox disinfecting wipes. To my relief, it did not have any toxic rating and had a health rating of 1. The website does a great job describing handling and disposal tips for this product and is sure to list it that this is not considered hazardous.
Based on my findings I will continue to use both products, but I will now look at the rest of my household products to assure they are okay to use such as these specially those I use more frequently. It is important for everyone to know what they are using specially if there are kids in the home that may get a hold of these products. People use what is recommended to them by a friend or a television commercial. It is necessary to be informed of any toxins you are bringing into your home.
